War Story:
This was "H" model, CE SP5 Paul R Wilson, G SP4 Jonathan D. Plamer,
AC was IP made PP go around was to close to trees, on second approch PP
"Rolled Throttle" like it was OH-13 or 23. Several people injured on ground.
Gunner bailed out when turbine started down (Not our frist crash) I cut AC
and PP Harness when we stop rolling. They were not happy, stopped upside
down, fuel every where and damn turbine still running! AC going thru shut
down when he dropped I turned off Master. I was on "monkey strap" beat the
hell out of me. I have a great picture after crash. 170th had all "H" models
beginning in '67, except "C" Guns.
