Accident Summary:
The aircraft was enroute to an L-19 crash site with a load of troops to secure the area. After making several passes, the aircraft set up for an approach to an LZ which was a tight area. The pilot elected to go around when on a low slow short final and there was insufficient power available. The aircraft crashed into trees with full pitch applied
